Terms of use

Animals and availability

Listings change quickly. An animal shown here may already have been adopted or may be on a medical or behavior hold. Submitting an application or booking a visit does not reserve an animal; adoption is final only when the paperwork is signed at the shelter.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and give us accurate information. You must be 18 or older to adopt, foster, or volunteer without an adult. We may block accounts that misuse the site.

Photos and content

Animal photos and descriptions belong to the shelter or the organization credited on the listing. Please do not copy them without permission, except to share a link or an animal's page.

Donations

Gifts are processed by Stripe and are final unless we make an error. Contact us if something looks wrong.
